Thurstan College marked its remarkable 75th anniversary with the grand Path to Glory ~ Thurstan Walk & Carnival 2025, held on February 1, 2025. The event brought together students, staff, alumni, and well-wishers in a vibrant celebration of the school's legacy and achievements.
Under the full supervision of the esteemed Principal, Mr. Pramuditha Wickramasinghe, the event unfolded in spectacular fashion, showcasing the deep-rooted traditions and dynamic spirit of Thurstan College. The Old Boys' Association (OBA) generously sponsored the event, further emphasizing the enduring bond between past and present Thurstanites.
The highlight of the event was the celebratory walk, which saw a sea of enthusiastic participants proudly representing the college. Along the way, spectators were treated to an array of cultural performances by the talented students of Thurstan College. These performances not only reflected the school’s rich cultural heritage but also entertained and inspired the attendees.
